Blogging has taken a back seat to everything else these days. In a couple of months, my part-time jobs of house designing and toilet plunging will end, and I'll be able to get back to it. Until then, an update of sorts. Seb and I went to the home show in St Louis in March. It was worth it just to get a photo of a perfect staircase for our house: maple and glass and steel rods. Oh! And the snoring remedy! How could I forget? The remedy is marjoram oil and it works. Sniff it in and leave it on your bedside table all night. It stops almost all of the snoring (that used to wake a house full of drunk college boys) and clears up my sinuses also. Highly recommended! In St Louis Freddy and Seb got in the little dryer and went up the Arch. I stayed firmly on the ground.

Sebastien got a part-time job at Home Depot to pay for the new furniture in the new house. 
And the alien came to live with us. I first encountered him one day when I went out to my car. 
He likes our food, especially nachos. He attended one of our dinner parties and seemed to enjoy that also. 
He is still with us reposing on the floor in the basement, simulating an alien who was hurt when his UFO crashed after entering our atmosphere. He has inspired much artwork:
