It is summer in Missouri, hot and humid. I chatted with some men this morning from New Jersey and California. They were surprised at the heat and surprised that I was cycling in it. I let them know that this is the norm, and that it will get a whole lot hotter as the day goes on.
I have a friend who is expecting her fourth child in August. Nine years ago I was expecting my fourth child in late July. The others were six, four, and two. And that last one was horribly behaved, throwing tantums and getting physically violent. She calmed down after awhile, but that was not a pretty summer.
Anyway, I was hugely pregnant with a 9 lb 12 oz, 23" long baby, carrying an extra fifty pounds, and parenting my unruly bunch. Freddy was due the same time that Sebastien had an airshow in Wisconsin. He was due at the beginning of the show. The show lasted seven days plus travel time.
The question for you is: Did Sebastien stay home with me or go to the show?

Whoah, that was a big baby! I thought mine were decent sized at 8 1/2 pounds. Wow, that's impressive.
I'm going to guess that he went to the airshow, but made it back in time for Freddy's birth.

Yes, that was a big baby, ESPECIALLY because you are not big!!
My dh left me to wander the maternity floor in an effort to induce labor. He went to get McDonald's for breakfast. There was a McD's across the street. But he says he FORGOT and went to the one by our house and THEN stopped at home to eat with Holly.
After an hour, one of the nurses kindly stopped me, "Dear, why don't you put a second gown on backwards. These don't do well at covering up everything." Thanks to my dh NOT being there to tell me, I'd been flashing the entire maternity ward for an hour with my large behind.
He did make it back in time, but I'll NEVER let him forget!

He hightailed it to the airshow. This despite the fact that he was and is madly in love with you and adores you for bearing him 4 beautiful (and big) children.
